Unplug from technology and take a meditation break

One way to really unplug from cell phones, computers, TV and electronic technology is to take a meditation break as a regular part of your routine. Not only are you turning off the electronics, but one's entire attention is turned inward, away from the outer world of sensory perceptions. The experience of the silent depths of our Being is a nourishing break that revitalizes and energizes the mind, heart and body. Neuroscience is finding that certain meditation techniques actually reset the brain and produce synchronous alpha throughout the entire brain. [1] After meditation, one's brain is functioning more coherently and it's easier to prioritize and create balance in life.
